Ted Dunagan was named a Georgia Author of the Year in 2009 for his
debut novel, A Yellow Watermelon, and again in 2011 for his second
book, Secret of the Satilfa. His third novel, Trouble on the Tombigbee,
was released in August, 2011.
While these books were written for youth, they also speak to adults
as well. In the best Southern literary tradiion, they explore poverty
and racial segregaion through the eyes of two twelve-year-old
friends. Children should be accompanied by adults, please.
