Friends of the Statesboro-Bulloch County Library is an association of persons interested in books, reading, and excellence in public library service whose principle goals are to:
Maintain a quality library for the people of Bulloch County;
Inform the public of the resources, services and needs of the public library;
Improve the services and facilities of the Statesboro Regional Library through financial assistance;
Provide money for purchasing materials and programs beyond the library’s budget;
Expand the cultural opportunities available to the public.

What do Friends do?
Serve as library volunteers.
Sponsor programs and special events, including the “Meet the Author” series.
Organize semi-annual used book sales as a fundraiser for library needs.
Underwrite book-related & other cultural programs for adults.
Host community receptions.
